Liberalism and Media Technology: The (real) final analysis
coming soon, maybe i think.
You can contribute to this essay with due credit by sending me an email @mxchina@disroot.org.
I'm interested in making a collective final essay for this blog before archiving it on internet archive, so please send your thoughts and feelings on what you think SEL has to say on the economic structure of capitalism, its political counterpart in liberalism and what this means in the context of the show. I'm especially interested in Adams, Paine, Hume, Locke, Burke, Mill, Hobbes, Emerson and the entire American intellectual tradition.
Note that this is specifically for a critical view of liberalism, so will be primarily viewing things from the lens of the compatible left (Deleuze, Foucault, Derrida etc.) also called the French theory tradition, as well as strong counter-histories of liberalism(like Losurdo's). Not looking for pro-communist or pro-liberal contributions.
All contributions will be duly credited.
